In the life cycle of human, the stage that is the most critical is puberty. Puberty starts from the age of 13-19. During these years, the young adult or the teenager is highly conscious on themselves especially on their appearance. They worry other people’s judgment and criticism. On this stage, a teenager wants to be accepted and longs for approval. This is true especially to teenage girls. Usually, girls are conscious on their weight and they want to appear sexy on the opposite sex. Teenage years are the time that the “attraction” thing towards the opposite sex is quite high.

In this situation, moist girls wanted to look good for the guy they fantasize by being slim. The body of a teenage girl cannot be compared to the body of an adult woman. Although they are both female, their body needs differ in function and metabolism. There is weight loss for teenage girls that are really intended for their age. Usually, this is a program that suits to young girls under this age bracket. The program allows them to get the nutrition that their body needs but without forcing them to deprive themselves from eating to which other people do just to lose weight.

Others think that starving, to which they also call it as “dieting” is good to shed off some pounds fast. Little did they know that this strategy backfires on them. It creates some manifestations in the body that adds more to the problem. When there is abrupt change in the regular routine such as decreasing a large amount of food intake that creates hunger, your “debt” from the usual dose of food you take will take its toll from your body. It increases your cravings for food. Thus, gains you more weight instead of losing some.

On the other hand, girls who are considered as fat often times experience ridicule from others. This painful situation requires instant solution to not further aggravate the damage that has been done to these poor girls. Effective weight loss for teenage girls is highly beneficial in this period. The result of attaining a slimmer body will boost their self-esteem and give confidence in their body image. In relation to this, obesity is also an imbalance wherein the body is not able to do its job properly and being fat is not healthy. It is also another form of malnutrition and brings some risk of acquiring serious diseases.
